Historically the turning area at the end of Kirkham Street in Paignton has been used to park vehicles. This has caused difficulty to other road users who have tried to turn, and at times cannot turn.
PCSO Dayment has been working with the Kirkham Area Residents Association in tackling this issue, and this has been addressed at Highways level. For the past two months PCSO Dayment has sent reminder letters to the Registered Keepers of the parked vehicles. This is having a positive effect, and now most of the time vehicles can manoeuvre safely.
