Welcome to Exeter
Your Diversity Officer
I am PC Jo ARUNDALE and I am the Diversity Officer for Exeter. I have recently joined the Diverse Communities Team, having previously worked in East Devon both as a Response Officer and a Neighbourhood Beat Manager.
My role is varied as I work with a wide range of people and agencies to support and advise any person/s who have been a victim of Hate Crime. My main duties are to monitor and encourage the reporting of Hate Incidents and to provide advice and guidance to these victims.
I develop and maintain contact with minority groups to build trust and confidence with the people of those communities in order to promote channels of communication between the Police and Partner Agencies. There are many ways in which I can provide this advice and guidance, but it depends on the level of intervention and assistance a person would want.
Should you wish to discuss any of these issues with me, please contact me on joanne.arundale@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk or via mobile 07740 836524.
